Thu, August 30, 2007 - 10:43 AMI heard about this on the 10:00 news a few nights ago, and then took a look at the Burning Man tribe just to see the reaction. It was so over-the-top that I've been glancing at it daily, just for the amusement value. Either this is the worst crime ever committed during the course of world history, or exactly what Burning Man is all about and the guy should be canonized. "Inclusion" and "acceptance" and "community" have gone right out the window: some of these threads have hit Jerry Springer Show proportions.
Are any of you familiar with the expression "jumped the shark"? Because I think it may apply to Burning Man in this case.
